Implant and Jaw Tomography

To make the implant, your dentist determines how much volume your jawbone has using tomography. At the beginning of the treatment, it is  important to determine the width, length and height of the bone. With the help of dental tomography, a 3D-plan of the implant is generated accordingly.

Implants are used to obtain as esthetically pleasing a look as possible, especially  where insufficient bone structures are concerned. Your dentist may not require a dental tomography for every case if there no risk of surgical complications.

Tomographies are necessary to examine cysts, lesions in sinuses, the condition of the jaw’s main nerve and the base of the nose.
